Friends of the Institute

Friends of the Institute is a small 2-man operation based out of Panama City, FL. We specialize in small-run, hand-pulled silkscreen prints and original graphic design and illustration work.

We burn screens in the laundry room and print in the living room. We have a passion for creating high-quality, eye-catching work and we would love to print something for you!

  1. This design was a part of a Kickstarter project to help Favored Sons release their new album, Never The Whole Story. It was printed in a limited edition of 20 posters and was only available to backers who pledged $75 or more.
This one had been in the works for a while, so not only are we happy because the guys get to release their album now, but also ‘cause we finally got to print it!

  4. Long time no blog!
This is a poster we made a small run of a while back as a gift for the guys behind Yolo Board. I think it’s honestly one of our best prints yet, but we decided to hold off on posting photos here until we could hand-deliver them first. So after a quick trip to Santa Rosa Beach today we can finally share these with the internet.
More to come soon, we promise there won’t be such a long break until the next post!
Also during our downtime we started a Facebook page, so if you’d like to go over there and give it a ‘like’ or whatever it’d be much appreciated. Soon as we get enough fans there, we’ll be holding a giveaway contest, so if you like free stuff, you should check it out.

  7. Our friends Lee and Kristen were in town Saturday, so we did a whirlwind tour of the town and produced a three-layer print from basically thin air all in under 24 hours. I’m still tired.
